The short version
We collect what you give us so a measure can be arranged and a quote prepared. We pass it to the licensed builder who would carry out the work. We do not sell it.
What we collect
When you ring, use the enquiry form or message us, we collect what you choose to share. That is usually:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your suburb, and whether the property is a house, townhouse or unit
- Details about the room, including any photos you send
- For strata properties, strata manager contact details if you provide them
- For investment properties, lease dates if you provide them
Calls may be logged or recorded so that enquiries are routed and followed up properly. At an on-site measure, photographs and notes of the room are typically taken.
Please do not send bank details, card numbers, identity documents or passwords through this website. We will never ask for them here.
What it is used for
To contact you, book the measure, prepare a quote and follow up about your renovation. Nothing else.
Who it is shared with
This is a referral website. Your enquiry is passed to Coastal Renovation Group, the licensed NSW builder we work in partnership with, so that they can contact you, measure and quote. Once you are dealing with them directly, they handle your information under their own practices.
Where it is necessary for the work, relevant details may also be shared with:
- A licensed asbestos removalist, where testing or removal is required
- Your strata manager or owners corporation, if you ask for help with an approval
- Government bodies, where the law requires it
We use third-party services to run the website, manage enquiries and handle phone calls. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide those services.
How long it is kept
For as long as it is needed for your enquiry and for any record-keeping period the law requires. After that it is deleted or de-identified.

The website may use cookies to understand how people use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
Your rights
To ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, ring 02 4214 4283. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
